The PetroTechnical Engineer Trainee is responsible for providing petrotechnical engineering advise in the geology, geophysics, reservoir and production domains to project teams during all phases of project development from concept to sustaining.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and propose new development areas in the Petrotechnical domain, including interpretation, answer products and sensors.
  • Apply petrotechnical expertise to the modeling of new concepts and advise about their feasibility in the field.
  • Define the Petrotechnical answer products of new tools in coordination with the Technology organization and Product Lines. Help define engineering, algorithms and software requirements to introduce new tools or data into customer interpretation workflows.
  • Deliver training and support internally and to customers on applying or understanding measurement and answer products for their interpretation needs and environment.
  • Conduct and coordinate testing of answer products. Contribute to the definition and documentation of measurement reliability, environmental specifications and limitations.
  • Participate in technical reviews and audits of projects.
  • Participate in customer case studies. Conduct joint studies with Research and regional technology centers in the Petrotechnical domain.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Be graduated in careers like system engineering, informatic engineering or similar
  • Have IT courses, experience with JAVA, Python is a plus
  • English proficiency (C1)
